Dear Friends, December 15, 2016
The Lord really blessed our ministry in Nepal last month. The Nepali pastors were thrilled to learn the Bible at our 3rd Kathmandu Pastors’ Conference. Dr. Moses Lee’s teaching translated by Pastor Biru Tamang was powerful enough to touch the hearts of these pastors. They expressed their gratitude to the DCMi family for helping provide them with both spiritual and physical food.
While Dr. Lee was teaching for me, I visited with some of the prominent church leaders of Nepal. Having these leaders commit to join us for the 2018 Kathmandu Gospel Festival reconfirmed to me that God is behind this vision. The preparation committee appointed one of the most influential Nepali pastors to deal with the government for the festival permit. A Christian Congressman also volunteered to work with this pastor to petition the government for the permit. In a Christian radio interview, I shared with Nepali Christians about how spiritual revival transformed Korea. I also appealed to the audience to pray for spiritual awakening in Nepal. Please keep praying for our ministry in Nepal. As you pray, would you also support this endeavor with your gift? I definitely saw how the Lord was slowly opening this predominantly Hindu country to the gospel of God.
I also had the privilege of preaching at a chapel service at Nepal Theological College. My heart was moved when I saw the commitment of these young people. They are committing to serve God as pastors in a country where people who become Christians lose their social status and possibly their lives. I truly enjoyed fellowshipping these future church leaders of Nepal at their school.
Would you partner with me in the call of fulfilling the Great Commission in our generation? I am asking God for 40 partners who would support God’s work through DCMi’s ministry with a gift of $50 a month in the year 2017? As the Lord lays a burden on your heart, please fill out the response card at the end of this letter and send it to me. All donations are tax-deductible.
Christmas 2016 is around the corner. This is my first Christmas without my Dad since he left us for eternal home in Heaven last summer. Thank you for your prayers and love for me and my family. I pray that this Christmas will remind us of the billions of people on the mission fields who will face Christmas without their Heavenly Father.
Merry Christmas!
