Dear Friends,
I am at JFK waiting for my flight to Senegal. I am looking forward to teaching a group of pastors at American Theological Institute in Senegal next week. I never forgot this lady in the video singing “Nous sommes la” and all the students singing with her following her lead last year. “Here I am! Use me.” Senegal is a Muslim country and the evangelical Christians consist of less than 2% of the population. In this milieu, becoming a Christian leader means losing all social privileges and living a life of suffering. But these leaders are singing, “Here I am. Use me.” Would you pray that I will do a superb job in becoming their friend and developing these leaders as the best leaders they are capable of becoming?
Prayerfully,
David
