DCMi has completed supplying food to the Church leaders on the mission fields. We sent your gift to India, Sri Lanka, Rwanda, Myanmar, Nepal, and Cambodia. Of these countries, however, we sent the most significant amount of $5000 to provide food to the pastors of the Banteay Meanchey province of Cambodia. This province of 900,000 residents is our next target for a citywide Evangelistic outreach (Located on the northwestern corner of Cambodia and is orange colored on the top left of the map).
Pastor Suy Ham, President of the Banteay Meanchey Church Association, reported to us that he had delivered the following food items to all pastors (220 pastors) serving in Banteay Meanchey: 20kg of rice (44.1Lb), a box of noodles (30 bundles), and ten fish cans. He pleaded with us to make sure that we would pass his sincere gratitude to our partners for their support.
At the request of one donor, we also delivered the same food items to five unbelieving families. These families were overjoyed to have received food from Christians during this critical time of need. We also visited one retired pastor and provided the same food items for his family. The pastors were blessed to have the Lieutenant Governor’s presence with them. This news was broadcasted via local TV station so the local people of Cambodia, a country of Buddhism, heard about the love Christians have for one another.
