The Deputy Minister of Religion and Culture of Cambodia greeted us on the second day of the festival. Among the VIPs that attended the festival were the Governor and his wife, the wife of the Speaker of the House along with many high-ranking officials of Cambodia.
The official count shows that 11,000 attended the second day of the festival. At the Victory Banquet yesterday (Dec. 26), the organizers told me that 892 people accepted Christ during the two-day festival. If we would include those who accepted Christ as the Grace Community Church’s evangelism team shared the gospel in the cities and villages, I am certain around 1000 people came to Christ through the Christmas of Love Festival. We have no idea how many accepted Christ at the 2 universities and 4 high schools where we held concerts and proclaimed Christ.
Thank you so much for your financial and spiritual support. At the Victory Banquet on Dec. 26, I told the organizers that the REAL FESTIVAL starts today. The Great Commission does not say, “Make converts.” Making disciples must start TODAY. The leadership told us, “When your team returns, you will see many sons and daughters of yours. Five years later, our city will have been changed due to your effort.” All the church leaders we worked with said, “We have never seen this grandeur of the proclamation of the Gospel. Thank you so much.”
We gave the best Christmas gift to the people of Cambodia this year.
