Dear Friends,
Sri Lanka’s economy recently collapsed. I’m sure you can imagine the political and social chaos this beautiful country is going through. It is heartbreaking to see how the people of Sri Lanka have endured one hardship after another for decades.
Through the Evangelical Alliance of Sri Lanka, I invited some leading pastors of Sri Lanka to a set of meetings on October 6th and 7th. We will brainstorm how to turn this national crisis into a God-given opportunity for an unprecedented spiritual awakening in Sri Lanka. Antoinette and I will depart for Colombo on October 2nd.
Would you please pray for our meetings on October 6th and 7th? If the church leaders of Sri Lanka buy into what the Lord has laid in our hearts, we will work extensively with the churches of Sri Lanka for the restoration of individuals and the nation in the upcoming 4-5 years.
We believe the gospel is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes (Rom. 1:16). Will you invest in this worthy cause of national transformation with prayer and financial support? I will keep you posted.
