Blessed Are the Poor in Spirit

Dear Friends,

Among all the Christians I met on this trip, the Christians come to my training in Mongkolborey were memorable. None of them looked wealthy, but their hearts were filled with the joy of Christ. They laughed heartily. They shouted “Amen” loudly. And they passionately committed to the call to evangelism.

When they sang this Korean song translated into Khmer, my heart was so touched because I knew the words:

I am bound by Your love alone

My soul sings Your praises and rejoices

With Your hope on this mount

With Your joy on this earth

Lord, I give my love to You.

I am surrounded by Your presence, Lord

My soul sings Your praises and rejoices

With Your calling on this mount

With Your work on holy ground

Lord, I worship You, my God.

For Your immeasurable grace for me

Is too marvelous to explain in words

My soul, I confess, will follow You to the end.

Lord, I give my life to You.

Would you pray with these Cambodian Christians that God will use the upcoming December Gospel Festival as an epoch-making event in building God’s kingdom in Cambodia? As you pray, if you feel a burden for Cambodia, would you participate in this mission with financial investment?

Building God’s Kingdom Together,

David
