Dear Friends,
Having flown all night, I safely arrived at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulaanbaatar this morning. Alongside the road from the airport to Ulaanbaatar was an endless wilderness with hills and horses.
In my past experiences, intestinal flare-ups were never calmed down without taking steroids for a short time or putting myself on a strict diet for a long time. However, my intestinal condition has been pretty stable today despite the current flare-ups. Thank you for praying for me.
Out of the 33 million population, some 60,000 people are Christians in Mongolia. During the first 20 years since the Soviet Union fell, Christianity exploded in Mongolia. In the past 10 years or so, however, growth was slowed down. Even Mongolian church leaders agree that it is time to raise leaders.
My ministry starts tomorrow by preaching at a local Mongolian church. Your continuing prayer is much appreciated.
Together in Harvest,
David
