The Missions Conference hosted by Grace Community Church (Sept. 22–24) was a dynamic celebration of missions. This mission festival was made possible by the dedication of the Missions Committee (IP Team), who dreamed together and prepared for the conference over the course of a year. Teamwork has the power to turn dreams into reality—teamwork makes the dream work.

The 21 participating missionaries were encouraged, and the congregation was challenged. Regarding the importance of process, John Maxwell says, “We overestimate the event and underestimate the process.” Although a price had to be paid, a year of preparation made the three-day conference powerful and meaningful. Perhaps it was precisely because of the price paid over that year that the three-day missions conference became even more powerful and significant.

No pain, no gain!
We salute the IP Team.
